On October 7, 2023, a devastating earthquake struck the Zenda-Jan district of Herat province, causing significant damage to several households in the area. In response to this disaster, On October 10, 2023 Help organization in close coordination with the (UNOCHA) launched a multipurpose emergency cash assistance program to provide immediate relief to those affected by the earthquake. The program aimed to distribute $100 (7500 AFN) per household to 140 households, with a budget of $14,000 (1,050,000 AFN). The majority of these household were from NAYEB RAFI (107 Households) and KOSHKAK village (33 Households).
