Dr. Ayoub Ayoubi, EU ROM expert, visited Ansari Vocational Training Center of the Department of Labor and Social Affairs in Herat Province.
The purpose of this visit was to monitor and ensure the proper implementation of the project “Reintegration of Highly Vulnerable Children (Including Street Working Children, Internally Displaced Children, Unaccompanied Cross Border Children, and Children applying to join the Police forces) for 2,300 People in Herat, Badghis, Ghor and Farah provinces by Providing Vocational and Technical Training and Facilities” which is being implemented by Help with the financial support of EU, UNICEF and Help Headquarter.
Mr. Ayoubi, while hearing a brief report on the activities of Help, which was given by Mohammad Ali Soroush, Help program manager in Afghanistan, appreciated the performance of this organization in implementing the project.
ROM expert of the European Union was accompanied by, Mr. Mohammad Farzan Hossaini, Child Protection Officer at UNICEF Office in Herat.
Mr. Ayoubi visited various parts of Ansari Vocational Training Center, including; carpet weaving, advanced tailoring, cooking, Beauty Parlor, House wiring, home appliance repair, advanced carpentry, and motorbike repair training classes, and heard about the effectiveness of the courses from the beneficiaries of the project. Beneficiaries were also given the opportunity to share their views and suggestions directly with Mr. Ayoubi and his team.
It is worth mentioning that Help has recently received a project from UNICEF and the Headquarter of Help in Germany. The mentioned Project Title is: “Reintegration of Highly Vulnerable Children (Including Street Working Children, Internally Displaced Children, Unaccompanied Cross Border Children, and Children applying to join the Police force) for 2,300 People in Herat, Badghis, Ghor and Farah provinces by providing vocational training and vocational facilities” which is applicable for 24 months from October 14th, 2019 to October 13th, 2021.
