Graduation ceremony of graduates of TVET and Employment Project of Help INGO and OSAA NGO – funded by BMZ

Tuesday April 16th 2019 the graduation ceremony of 240 TVET beneficiaries of Help INGO in Ansari VTC and OSAA NGO in Isteqlal VTC was held in Women Empowerment and Social Association.

The ceremony started with the introduction of the project run by Help INGO and OSAA NGO by Mr. Zabihullah Monib, Help Country Director for Afghanistan. Then vocational graduates performed a role-play regarding unemployment, familiarity and benefiting from vocational training centers and their trainings.

After that, Mrs. Elaha Banaey, OSAA Director, introduced OSAA’s TVET and Employment project activities. Later on, one of Fair Employers a partner of OSAA EESC (Heray Donia Food industry) talked about employment and hiring vocational graduates in private sector and especially in this company.

Following that, Help and OSAA organizations appreciated a number of companies who cooperated in employment of graduates, counseling regarding market demands and updating curricula by awarding appreciation letters. The companies included Bariq Electricity Company, Teb Andishan Company, Heray Donia Food industry, Asia Pharma Medical Equipment Production Company, Herat Shoe-Making Association, Carpet and Rug Weaving Association, Novin Saze Carpentry Company and Jamshid Rezaee Bag-making.

At last, Mr. Abdul Qayoum Afghan Head of Herat Department of Labor and Social Affairs concluded the ceremony and distributed tool kits to successful graduates.
