The capacity building training sessions on “M&E and Report writing” to the staff of DoLSA was organized by Help in Ghor-Afghanistan. A 5 half-day training session was taken place at the Help-sub-office conference room from Wednesday 23 September to Monday 28 September 2020.

Sohrab Faizy Help’s master trainer and reporting officer gave the opening remarks encouraging the participants to take seriously with the aims of enhancing their knowledge on how to monitor the activities of I/NGOs and developing standard reports.

A total of 14 persons (2 women & 12 men) including Admin and HR manager, work permit distribution manager, IT manager, TVET manager, executive manager, kindergartens manager, M&E manager, and social workers attended the training, learned and discussed the relevant topics.

At the beginning and end of the training, the trainer conducted a pre-test and post-test from the participants to understand and evaluate the level of their knowledge. Also, the trainer used methods such as brainstorming, lecture, group work, Q & A as well as role-play for a better understanding of the topics.

Finally, the training found useful both by the trainer and participants. Similar capacity building training will be conducted by Help to the staff of DoLSA in the future as well.
