Help Launches a Campaign to Disinfect Educational and Childcare Centers in Herat province

The campaign to disinfect the places where children are being educated or kept is organized by Help in cooperation with the Departments of Labor and Social Affairs and Public Health in Herat Province.

The campaign, which started on Tuesday, 27 August 2020, will continue for 5 months if needed.

In this campaign, 14 centers where children are being kept will be disinfected periodically once a week.

It is worth mentioning that the employees appointed by Help for disinfection have received the necessary training by the Public Health Department of Herat Province.

The centers that are included in this period of disinfection campaign are Khaja Abdullah Ansari girls’ Orphanage, Kowsar Private Orphanage, Imam Baqer Boys’ Orphanage, Children’s Reforming Center, Children’s Addiction Treatment Center, Khana-e-Mehr Orphanage, Atefi Foundation, Mashal Hedayat Social Association, Disability Foundation, Pir-e- Herat Foundation, School for the Blinds, Khaja Abdullah Ansari boys’ Orphanage, Bibi Somayyeh Kindergarten, and Khaneh Mohabbat Orphanage.

This campaign is part of the programs of Help in Herat province, which is being implemented with the financial support of UNICEF in Herat, Ghor, and Farah provinces.
