Ms. Rahela Hashimi A successful case of “Food and Dairy Process Class” Mobile VTC, Ghuzara district

In remote areas, people face lots of financial and social problems. Most of the girls can’t continue their education to build a bright future for themselves due to financial problems. Girls are even forced to get married in early ages.

If vocational opportunities and other supports are given to these women to start a small business, these women can have a better life in the future.

Help INGO has provided this opportunity with conducting vocational training courses in Guzara district for women of villages to get benefit from training and other supports.

During the last two years, lots of women from “Guzara district” benefited from training courses by Help INGO and could stand on their feet.

A brief description of Rahela’s life

I am Rahela, I live in Shakur Khani village of Guzara district. It has been five years since I have lost my father and I live with my mother, sisters and brothers. We are seven in our family and I am the only bread-winner of the family. My brothers and sisters are so young and life has become so hard for us after my father’s death. My mother has to stay at home to take care of my small siblings. I did not used to have any job or know any profession so could not do anything. Days were passing hard till I got informed about mobile vocational training programs of Help INGO in Guzara district. When I visited their center, I was qualified, got registered and started training.

Fortunately, with starting food process and confectionary training, I became hopeful. My mother was so happy and was always encouraging me to use this opportunity and learn well. I could learn this profession with the help of my trainer and Help INGO.

Then with the help of employment service Center (ESC), I started working as a trainer in World Vision organization and I’m earning a good salary. Besides, I train women of this village in women association. Now I have a good life with my family in Guzara district and our life is socially and financially much better.

I have many wishes, I want to train lots of girls to help them be hopeful in life. I want them to learn a profession, stand on their feet and grow socially and financially.

We hope these programs happen in our districts and city to save many lives from misery and offer a bright future for the youth.

I thank Help INGO, OSAA and World Food Program (WFP) and other partner organizations that have supported us.
