Successful completion of second round of Teaching Methods Course for 25 kindergarten and orphanage teachers of Dept. of Labor and Social Affairs of Herat province/ DoLSA

In accordance to the MoU between Help INGO and DoLSA of Herat province, in continuation of capacity building training for staffs of this department, the second round of training was conducted on Teaching Methods and Communication Management for one month – 01 Dec. 2018 to 30 Dec. 2018 – by Mrs. Sima Sadat, master trainer in management and teaching methods for 25 kindergarten and the orphanages teachers of DoLSA in Women Services and Economic Cooperative hall.

In this class, participants were taught topics such as: 32 new teaching methods, communication management, psychology issues and motivation management which were, fortunately, welcomed by participants.

In the graduation ceremony of these teachers; first, Mr. Mohammad Ali Soroosh talked briefly over training and capacity building programs offered to directors, managers, staff and kindergarten teachers of DoLSA by Help INGO. He talked about benefits of updating and upgrading skills and abilities of civil service staff and promised continued cooperation in future with DoLSA in the framework of new projects.

Then, Mr. Hekmat, Director of Human Recourses unit of DoLSA, thanked Help INGO for conducting such training programs and asked the participants to share what they have learned in this class with their colleagues.

Mr. Abdul Qaiyoum Afghan, Director of DoLSA, thanked Help INGO and its implementing partners for their support especially for capacity building programs for staff and teachers of this Dept. Mr. Afghan said: “Capacity building and updating the skills is necessary for everybody and I, as the responsible person of this department, will support such programs till I am in this position because these programs increase the effectiveness of the office and services for citizens.”  .

At the end, one of the participants talked on behalf of participants of teaching method class and emphasized that all the topics taught in this class were useful. We try to apply the topics we have learned in this class in our work. She said: learning such programs are necessary and effective for all teachers and have positive influence on development of working and teaching of teachers.

This graduation ceremony was finished with distribution of the certificates prepared by Help INGO and collecting opinions and suggestions from participants.
