The delegation of the Afghan Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs visits Ansari Vocational and Technical Training Center

On 16 December 2020, Ansari Vocational and Technical Training Center hosted a delegation from the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs (MoLSA) of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.

This delegation included; Mohammad Fayez Afzali, the Donor Engagement Coordinator, Abdul Moqaddas Massoud, the MoU Specialist, and Habibullah Shokran the Finance Manager of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs. Ms. Fatema Tokhi also accompanied the delegation on behalf of the Department of Labor and Social Affairs of Herat Province.

They visited different sections and classes of Ansari Vocational and Technical Training Center and expressed their satisfaction with the implementation of the livelihood project.

Amin Ziaee, Help’s Livelihood Project Manager, and Elaha Frotan, Management Officer of Ansari VTC accompanied the delegation, and brief them about the center plans and Help’s TVET program.

Help has received a livelihood project funded by UNICEF and Help HQ in Bonn, Germany:  “Reintegration of Highly Vulnerable Children (Including Street Working Children, Internally Displaced Children, Unaccompanied Cross Border Children, and Children applying to join the Police force) for 2,300 People in Herat, Badghis, Ghor and Farah provinces by Providing Vocational Training and Vocational Facilities”. The project is  for 24 months started from 14 October 2019 and will finish on 13 October 2021.
