The latest achievements of Afghan girls’ robotic team to fight the Coronavirus were unveiled

The spread coronavirus in Herat province has led to new achievements in the Afghan Girls Robotics Team.
This team of the Afghan teenage girls’ robotic team is part of a large group of top students in the field of technology known as the “Afghan Dream Girls” from Herat one of the western provinces of Afghanistan.  Afghan Girls Robotics Team that is leading by the Digital Citizen Fund office, used basic equipment(basic parts of cars), during the Coronavirus Pandemic, to provide some of the most advanced and essential equipment in the community, including a ventilator and sanitizer devices, by the financial support of UNICEF and Facilitation of Help to fight the Coronavirus.

In a ceremony held for the unveiling of the mentioned devices in the hall of Arg Hotel in presence of the governor of Herat province, some heads of government departments, officials and representatives of UNICEF, Help and DCF offices, the mentioned devices and some video games on Coronavirus, made by the girls of the Afghan robotics team, were unveiled.
It is said that this ventilator has the ability to adjust the number of breaths, speed, and pressure, which will be marketed after approval by medical authorities.
The Governor of Herat Province, while thanking the girls of the Afghan Robotics Team for making of these devices and the offices of UNICEF, Help, and DCF, which supported the team with their financial and technical assistance, added, “We hope that these devices will soon create their relationship with users”. He announced the full support of the Afghan government for the girls of this team and said that these are the proud people of Afghanistan.
