UNICEF Delegations Visit Ansari VTC

The UNICEF delegation including Mrs. Erinna Dia, chief of Education Section UNICEF, Afghanistan, Mrs. Aye Than, Youth and Adolescent Developments Specialist UNICEF, Afghanistan visited Ansari Vocational Training Center On 21 October 2020.

The purpose of this visit was to be sure about the effectiveness of the project being implemented by Help at Ansari VTC.

In addition to that, another delegation, on the same day including Mrs. Cassia Ayres Communication for Development Manager (C4D) UNICEF Afghanistan, Visited Ansari VTC.

This delegation also visited the facemask production which is being done by Advanced tailoring trainees at Ansari and was so satisfied with the activities being done.

In this Visit, Mr. Amin Ziaee, Project manager, and Elaha Frotan, Ansari VTC management Officer were accompanying and gave them brief information about the activities which are being implemented by Help at Ansari VTC

They visited the classes, and ask beneficiaries about how they were selected and if this project had any effects on their life.

To be noted that Help has received a project from UNICEF and the headquarters of the German Help in Bonn, Germany. The mentioned Project Title is: “Reintegration of Highly Vulnerable Children (Including Street Working Children, Internally Displaced Children, Unaccompanied Cross Border Children, and Children applying to join the Police force) for 2,300 People in Herat, Badghis, Ghor and Farah provinces by Providing Vocational Training and Vocational Facilities” which is applicable for 24 months from October 14th, 2019 to October 13th, 2021
