Ansari’s VTC Inauguration Ceremony

The reintegration of most vulnerable children through the provision of TVET and Employment Facilitation project is implemented by OSAA in Herat, and RSDO in Badghis, Ghor, and Farah provinces funded by UNICEF, Help, and WFP for 24 months. Through this project, 1,600 children and/or their caregivers will be enrolled and trained in the marketable vocations and will be provided employment services in 6 months during the 1st phase of the project in Ansari VTC and also Pashtoon Zarghon, Rabat Sangi, and Islam Qala mobile VTCs of Herat province.

On 8th May 2022, the new phase of vocational classes at Ansari Vocational Training Center in Herat province was inaugurated. The official inauguration ceremony of the TVET project training classes was held in Ansari VTC with the participation of Mr. Mohammad Asif Foulad Acting Country Director and Mr. Aminullah Bawar Snr. Program Officer from Help, Mr. Hafiz Mirza Mohammad (Abu Mansoor) DoLSA’s Director, Mr. Farzan Hussaini from UNICEF, Mr. Omid Noori from WFP, and OSAA’s management team.

During the ceremony, OSAA’s program manager briefed the participants on the project scope and implementation methodology of the project in Ansari and Mobile VTCs at the district level. Then, Mr. Foulad expressed gratitude to the project stakeholders for their always effective cooperation towards the smooth implementation of such programs and spoke on the importance and positive impacts of the project.

Pursuing Mr. Foulad’s speech, Mr. Hafiz Mirza Mohammad (Abu Mansoor) DoLSA’s director also spoke to the participants and thanked Help and donor agencies. He also appreciated Help’s commitment and progressive support to the most vulnerable and needy people during the hard times.

Mr. Farzan Hussaini UNICEF’s representative also spoke and briefed the participants on UNICEF’s commitments to the vulnerable communities in Afghanistan. He thanked Help for the successful implementation of the Livelihood project.
