Graduation ceremony and tool-kit distribution for 96 beneficiaries of vocational training and job facilitation project of Help INGO in Bamyan – December 2018

Help INGO celebrated graduation ceremony of 96 beneficiaries from computer repair, home appliances repair, women clothes’ design and tailoring and food process on 23rd of December 2018.

In this ceremony representatives of DoLSA, Directorate of Women Affairs, Craftsman Union, manager of Nurband Qala Hotel, Director of OBTA, representative of Human Rights Commission, and representative of Chamber of Commerce and Industry attended.

The graduation ceremony begun with recitation of Holy Quran and national anthem. Then Mohammad Edris Sharify, Help Provincial Director talked about vocational programs of Help in Bamyan. He said that Help INGO covered 100 beneficiaries including destitute and returnees in the second half of 2018 and now, after six month, we witness graduation of 96 of those beneficiaries from different vocations.

He said: Help INGO provided all facilities for the beneficiaries and it also provided field exposures and study tours according to their field of training in different places. Beneficiaries received their transport fare from Help INGO and Food for Training through E-Voucher from WFP during this six-month vocational training course. Mr. Sharify added that two groups could start their work, before graduating, in the market with what they had learnt and currently they are successfully working. The graduated beneficiaries formed 7 working groups that includes 24 males and females. These beneficiaries will receive their tool-kits in groups while others will receive their tool-kits individually.

In continuation, representative of DoLSA in Bamyan province, manager of Nurband Qala hotel and Mohammad Kazem, one of the graduates spoke and each of them appreciated activities of Help INGO in vocational training and employment services. They thanked Help INGO with an appreciation letter. This ceremony was finished with theater performance and music by graduates and distribution of certificates to vocational training staff. Also 96 beneficiaries received their tool-kits.
