Small Business Training

This course focuses on small business concepts, skills development and cost accounting systems and techniques. It is intended to foster knowledge, skills and motivation for small business start-up among TVET bens. Several important concepts will be studied in detail, including setting prices and calculating costs, marketing and promotion, planning and quality management and customer behaviour. After completing the course the trainees will be able to identify the needs to start a business, will find out who his/her customers are and where they usually shop. In the meanwhile, they will understand how to produce a good-quality product and will get to know the things they need to use to make their products (identify materials). Finally, they will be given lessons on the importance of understanding the costs, how to promote their business and the importance to set business goals.
