Successful Organization of PCM Workshop Emphasizing on M&E and Reporting for Monitoring Officers

PCM Workshop with focus on Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting for 26 Project Monitoring Officers of 25 governmental Departments completed on 29 February in Herat.

This training program was organized to build the capacity of governmental staff and to promote the coordination between NGOs and sectorial offices for 10 days. Participants in this workshop were introduced to the training center by 48 governmental departments. The main topic of the program was PCM with focus on Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting of projects.

The program is successfully implemented in IARCSC Training Center with Help’s financial and technical support in close coordination with Capacity Building Directorate of Herat Human Resources Department of the governor’s office. The program was included theoretical and practical trainings that was presented by IARCSC master trainer. Moreover, a number of experienced guest speakers were invited to share their experiences to make the program richer.

Each training session of this workshop which was held in the morning in the Training Center lasted 2 hours.

The workshop lasted from 16 to 29 February 2016. In the end, a closing ceremony was held to appreciate participants’ active attendance. Head of Herat Human Resources, Mr. Asif Saeedi, Help Capacity Building Program Coordinator Mr. Mohammad Ali Soroosh and Mr. Zabihullah Monib Taheri along with the Provincial Capacity Building Committee officials and IARCSC Training Center staff attended the ceremony.

The second M&E workshop will be organized soon for other governmental departments who were not present in the first round in coordination with Herat Governor’s office.
