The 13th Round Graduation Ceremony of Civil Servants from Herat IARCSC Training Center

The 13th round graduation ceremony of Herat Civil Servants trained by Help Capacity Building Program was held in Herat IARCSC Training Center today.

Asiluddin Jami, vice-governor of Herat, Al-Haj Abdul Salam Salam, Head of west zone IARCSC, Heads of different govt. depts., I/NGOs, UN, Civil Society Organization, and Help INGO officials attended the ceremony.

Mr. Asiluddin Jami, vice-governor of Herat while congratulating the 13th round graduation of Herat Civil Servants insisted on the necessity for capacity building in every level in governmental departments. He also asked graduates to work sincerely for their compatriots people and put more efforts in improving their departments.

Then Mr. Qarizada while appreciating Capacity Building Committee, IARCSC and Help Organization talked on behalf of this rounds’ graduates. He talked about the experiences they gained and the subjects they learned during this 6 months training included Computer, Good Governance, Management, English, and Project Cycle Management.

Then, Al-Haj Abdul Salam Salam, Head of IARCSC in west zone expressed his contentment for completion of another round of capacity building and emphasized the positive influences of this program on promotion of participating governmental departments.

He added that capacity building is a sustainable and renewable process and there is a need for professional trainings based on governmental departments’ needs.

Totally 82 individuals graduated in this round, out of which 30% were females. The ceremony finished by distributing the certificates of the 13th round graduates.

Due to successful implementation of the program, urgent need in increasing the capacity of civil servants in Herat, interest and support of Provincial Capacity Building Committee and CSC in West Zone, the capacity building program of Help will be extended and funded for another 6-month round by the project donor, the German Government.
